5 WAYS TO MOTIVATE YOURSELF

Hi guys! Thanks for blogging with me once again. Please don’t forget to follow on Ig @Ebube_talksreality, Twitter@ Ebube_talks, and also, subscribe to my blog for notifications on latest releases.
As we all know, motivation is one thing we need to take us through our daily lives and struggles. One reason why people are depressed and then boom the next thing they think about is suicide is because they fail to motivate themselves each time they wake up or every day.
Below are some ways to motivate oneself:

  1.       Put Pen to Paper(Write down your goals): Now that technology has taken the order of the day, we’ve forgotten that before this technology, we used pen and paper to write, and feathers and ink to write. What I am trying to say is why depend on technology when you can just write down or set your goals for that day when you wake up and follow it judiciously? First, let us understand what a goal is. Goal is the object of a person's ambition or effort; an aim or desired result. If you can write down your goals, then you are on the right path. This is because, once you have those goals, you would see that you would get motivated and gingered to accomplish it if you are serious.

     2.  Develop a Plan: After setting your goals, the next step is to consider how to meet them by developing an action plan. One thing most people forget to include in their action plan is who can help them achieve their goals. After I set my goals and I start plotting action steps to meet them, I take a moment to consider who in my network has the expertise to help make them a reality. No man is an island. You have to find someone who is an expert in that field to help you and direct you to the right path.

     3.  Manage your time: Time is like a precious stone or a golden opportunity that you can't afford to waste or to misuse. If you want to achieve your goal or goals, another thing to consider after developing your plan is how to manage your time. If you can’t manage your time, there’s no way you can achieve your goals.

4.  Avoid Procrastination: Procrastination is one thing that happens in our daily lives. For example, If you are to send a mail to someone at 2pm, you will get a spirit telling you to say there is time and then you end up not sending it at all. This normally happens to me but I found a way to regulate and finally put it to a stop. Once you have a task, make sure you try your best to do it immediately, that will definitely defeat procrastination. If you keep procrastinating you won't accomplish your goal.

     5.  Schedule Reflection Time: Checking or going back to your goals daily, weekly, and monthly helps you determine if it’s working or not. If you notice that you’re having a hard time staying on a task or trying to juggle too many goals at a time and nothing is moving, adjust accordingly. Remember that a goal doesn't get met without having a solid plan in place. And also, don’t forget to commit your plans into God’s hand for perfection.

  1. This article came at the very nick of time. Personally, I struggle with staying motivated. There's too much to juggle. The point that screams at me is to schedule reflection time. I find out I set goals and plans but don't bother reviewing them to see what works and what doesn't.

Thank you Ebube for this master piece🧡🔥🙌🏾
